Speaking Requests

The following is Fr. Richard Rohr's schedule:

2008-2009 - Fully booked.
2010 - You can make requests in January of 2009, or shortly before.

The form below serves as a preliminary request for Fr. Richard Rohr to speak. Please note that Richard is not able to do individual parish missions or retreats.

If he agrees to the preliminary request, you must follow up with a hardcopy request on the letterhead of your organization, so that we have all proper addresses and numbers, and something akin to a "contract" in hand.

Until Richard responds to the hardcopy request, do not consider it a final agreement. This will normally happen within two weeks of receiving the hardcopy request, unless Richard is on the road.

2. Event and event dates (or you may offer several dates, which can improve your chances)

3. Describe the expected audience

4. Some sense of why you specifically want Richard as a speaker. (He is more likely to take things which he is specifically needed for, gifted for, or which no one else is doing.)

5. Any details on honorarium. (As a Franciscan, Richard has never requested any particular fee. He trusts that you will offer something which is both just and comparable, along with economy airfare, room and board in a private setting. For groups in need, he often takes no honorarium.)

6. Any other desires or expectations you might have of him (consultation time, meals with sponsors, extra workshops, newspaper or radio interviews, visits to persons or places, tours of the Taj Mahal, etc.)
