Presence and the Spiritual Antidotes
with Helen Palmer

You are invited to join Helen Palmer for a European Spiritual Enneagram Retreat June 1- 4, 2008 in the beautiful historic Italian town of Assisi. Helen describes Presence as being our living connection, our vital link to the dimensions from which all that is visible in the ordinary world emanates. It is a collected awareness without time or form, without discursive thinking, concepts or imagery. We typically lose Presence through the activities of type, however when we can learn to relax conditioned awareness a non-thinking but thoroughly knowable and receptive  Presence remains.

In this retreat we will learn the practices of spiritual freedom for each triad with 20 – minute periods of inner training with the spiritual antidotes. These attention practices give you a structure for shifting desire to non-attachment, aversion to receptive awareness and self-forgetting to being present and awake. Please come with a willingness to sit quietly for 20 minutes at intervals during this retreat – and it is open to all Enneagram schools for those who truly seek spiritual growth.
