From airport:

Bus No. 119 goes from the airport terminal “Sever 1” to subway “Dejvická”. “Sever 1” is where you arrive if you fly from non-Schengen countries like the U.K. Those flying from Schengen countries (most of Eeurope) will arrive at terminal “Sever 2” and will need to walk a few hundred meters through corridors to “Sever 1”. Cost is about 20 CZK which is about $1 US or 0.7 EUR. Buses end at subway Dejvicka.

Take a Taxi:

(or a shuttle-minibus taxi) directly from the airport terminal. Be sure to negotiate the price up front to avoid an unpleasant surprise. About €20 ($30 US) is appropriate.

By Train:

From any train station in Prague: Take to Subway to station “Dejvická”. (The subway station is an orientation landmark and is very close to the hotels and college.)

Masarykova kolej (the Masaryk College) and the Diplomat hotel are located at the edge of Prague center near the airport. Both are within walking distance of each other and from the subway station “Dejvická”- terminal on line A. Both are located conveniently along the main street “Eevropská” which is the main connection to the airport and to westward highways. An important landmark to look for is the plaza “Vítězné náměstí” - popularly called “Kulaťák” (= round plaza).

About the Sponsor

The Center for Action and Contemplation, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was founded in 1987 by Franciscan Father Richard Rohr. Father Rohr saw the need for a training/formation center that would allow spiritually seeking people to integrate a contemplative lifestyle and compassionate service. The CAC attracts people from around the world who seek peaceful, positive alternatives and solutions to the difficult challenges of our often materialistic, irrational and violent world. The center offers different programs and resources which you can read about on this website.
