She is armed with self-effacing humor - she is laugh out-loud funny - and ruthlessly honest. Anne communicates her faith in her books and in person. She lifts, comforts, and inspires, all the while keeping us laughing. Her recent book is Plan B: Further Thoughts on Faith. She is a regular columnist for salon.com.

Fr. Richard Rohr is a Franciscan of the New Mexico province and founder of the Center for Action and Contemplation. Fr. Richard’s gift is articulating to our minds what we already know in our hearts. He considers the proclamation of the Gospel to be his primary call, and uses many different platforms to communicate that message. His most recent book is Adam’s Return: The Five Promises of Male Initiation.

About the Hosts:

Sojourners (www.sojo.net) was founded in 1971 as a Christian ministry whose mission is to proclaim and practice the biblical call to integrate spiritual renewal and social justice. Sojourners currently engages Christians, policymakers and the media through multimedia journalism – print publications (including award-winning Sojourners magazine), digital publications, e-mail services (including Sojomail e-zine), and interactive Web content, to offer an alternative faith-based perspective to inform political and cultural discourse and enliven public debate.

The Center for Action and Contemplation, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was founded in 1987 by Franciscan Father Richard Rohr. Father Rohr saw the need for a training/formation center that would allow spiritually seeking people to integrate a contemplative lifestyle and compassionate service. The CAC attracts peole from around the world who seek peaceful, positive alternatives and solutions to the difficult challenges of our often materialistic, irrational and violent world.
